1 your first stop will be at the reception station where you,ll start your army record ,that will be about two days you will get your first round of shots, haircut, dog tags,id card, and the basic,s of marching and army life.
#2 then you will get on another bus and be shipped to your basic training unit where you will met your two drill instructors and they will
go into more detail about basic training the first month of your training will be more marching physical training and basic classes on first aid and military courtesy and law .you might get picked to pull a little k.p.
but that’s cool you get to miss out on some classes that you ll make up for later like gas mask drill ,you will get another round of shots the
first month is nothing but classes .
#3 then you will be issued your first weapon ,and classes on how to take it apart and put it back together and work properly close order drill
then you will start taking road marches out to the range to start firing the weapon and shoot for your basic skill.you will become either a (expert, marksman, sharpshooter) and get familiar with other weapons like the m-60 machine gun ,grenade launcher m-79 and learn how to throw a grenade and make grade on that you will have to pull fire watch in your barracks incase some one is smoking in there beds but the odds are you wont find any one doing ,you might get some leave but not to go home just the evening offand you might make it to the base clubs but then you got to be back in your bunk at midnight and then doing a little night training where you will be tought how to shoot at night and march at night .
#4 and if you make it through that two months you will be able to graduate with the rest of your platoon the get your orders to go to your
next duty station for the speicial training that you chose to make a career out of .good luck .

Simple…. keep your mouth shut, pay attention and don’t get in the gang of those called "hard core privates". Those who think that since they now have put on a uniform are cool.
